Lee Alvey

Lee Turner Alvey, 92, of Owensboro, passed away on Friday, May 17, 2019 at Wellington Parc. She was born March 20, 1927 in McLean Co. to the late Joe and Florence Whitaker Curry. Mrs. Alvey was a member of St. John's United Methodist Church and was retired from S. W. Anderson's Dept. Store. She was also preceded in death by her husbands, Eugene Turner in 1973 and John D. Alvey in 1989, and a daughter-in-law, Penny Turner in 2013.

Surviving are her sons, Mike Turner and Steve Turner, both of Owensboro, two grandchildren, Tiffany and husband Dr. Joe Gaudio of Brooklyn, N.Y. and Tennille Turner of Manhattan, N.Y., and a great grandchild, Ashley Gaudio.

The Funeral Service for Lee Turner Alvey will be Noon Monday, May 20, at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory with burial following in Elmwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. until Noon Monday at the funeral home.
