Fred Miller

Fred Joseph Miller, 76, of Oakland City, IN, formerly of Owensboro, passed away Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at Good Samaritan Nursing Home. He was born on February 7, 1941 to the late Fred Cornelous Miller and Mary Lee Buhrle Miller. Fred was a US Army veteran and retired from Reed Construction where he was employed as a carpenter. He was a member of AMVETS and the American Legion. He enjoyed baseball, especially St. Louis Cardinals, UK basketball and fishing.

Along with his parents, Fred was preceded in death by his twin brother Eddie Miller, and his other brother Billy Miller, and 2 daughters Linda Mischelle Miller and Lisa Gail Miller.

He is survived by his children, Edward Miller, Jeff (Darlena) Miller and Roxanna (Kevin) Kirk, all of Owensboro, KY, 8 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Burial will be at Rosehill Cemetery.
