Charles Lindsey

Charles Edward Lindsey, 82, of Owensboro, died on June 1, 2018 at his residence. He was born on September 29, 1935 in Indiana to the late Archie M. and Vera Daffron Lindsey. He had been employed at Pinkerton Tobacco and was a member of Ridgewood Baptist Church. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Forrest Ann Roberts Lindsey; son, David Lindsey; brothers, John Robert Lindsey, Ben T. Lindsey, Joseph L. Lindsey and Donald R. Lindsey.

Survivors include three daughters; stepsons, Kevin L. Kirk (Roxanna), David Kirk (Katie) and William Coons; six grandchildren, Kaitlyn Sumner, James Kirk, Shay Kirk, Ally-Paige Kirk, Carly Kirk and Devon Freeman; and six great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 4 p.m. on Sunday, June 3, 2018 in the Chapel at James H. Davis Funeral Home & Crematory. Ennichment will be at Rosehill Cemetery at a later date. Visitation is from 12 to 4 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home.
